But for those with relatives in federal prison, the transfer of funds can be a more complex problem.

People outside the federal prison are able to send money to family and friends in a federal prison in three different ways: the US mail, son and MoneyGram money. Although the focus of US Mail is perhaps the simplest and least expensive, none of the three methods of money transfer is as easy as one might expect or hope.

DEPOSIT FUND BY MAIL US

Trust Fund by mail from the United States is the slowest, however, the less expensive and easier to finance the trust account funds from a federal prisoner. Two, the full payment of the effect must have both the name and number in the internal register is held engaged. Three, the envelope must have the name and number of the complete internal record of the prisoner has committed. And four speakers are not allowed (eg, letters, photos, etc.) other than the financial instrument.

Although there are various authorized negotiable instruments, only those listed above do not have a settlement period (which can last up to several weeks). The best way to send money through the mail in the United States is to simply go to a local post office and buy a US warrant. In this way, many problems can be avoided and the recipient can receive the funds they need in the most convenient way (by the United States Postal Service that is).
