The curriculum prepares Fellows NYC a critical mass of outstanding teachers committed to a better future for the students of New York. Our teachers go where they are needed most - they teach in urban neighborhoods where too many children have fallen behind and are struggling to catch up.

Fellows who successfully complete our programs become full-time teachers in a few months to register. They participate in an innovative summer training program, focused on the practice and then get a master's degree in subsidized education while teaching in a public school in New York City.
