The curriculum prepares Fellows NYC a critical mass of outstanding teachers committed to a better future for the students of New York. Our teachers go where they are needed most - they teach in urban neighborhoods where too many children have fallen behind and are struggling to catch up.

Fellows who successfully complete our programs become full-time teachers in a few months to register. They participate in an innovative summer training program, focused on the practice and then get a master's degree in subsidized education while teaching in a public school in New York City. Fellows for our 2015 program will train teaching areas of basic needs, including math, science, special education, English, English as a second language, elementary bilingual, special education - Bilingual and Special Education - Mathematics .Who are we looking for?
There is no single profile of an ideal candidate. You may have built a successful career in business or engineering and now wish to give back as a teacher. You might be a recent graduate achievement-who specialized in economics or physics that now wants to share your passion for these topics with students NYC. Whatever your background, you believe that every student can achieve at a high level and will do whatever it takes to help them get there. No experience or education of the prior course of education is required. Strong candidates:
